Slice Slice baby

My husband had a pretty rough day yesterday. Almost no sleep the night before, no wife, 36 holes of golf, pressure to pass the PAT this time, and a 2.5 hour drive home in the dark. Plus other things that shall remain unshared.

And you conquered, my dear. I'm so proud of you.

I wanted to hold and rock him like a baby when he finally got home...due to size, this wasn't exactly possible. So, instead, we're going to the corn maze tonight to celebrate. I love corn mazes!

And I love Slice.

  1. Surely the 36 holes of golf is not included in the roughness of the day? To my golfer, 36 holes of golf any day is like a temporary pass to the celestial kingdom.

  2. P.S. How fun would it be to go on golf double-dates together someday?

  3. Hmmm, good point. I think 36 holes might have been fun if he wasn't under so much pressure to get below a certain score. He was sore, though, because the last time he's played that much in one day was at Roosy Open in August.
That would be so fun to go on a double date! That is, as soon as Slice teaches me how to golf. Otherwise it could be embarrassing for me.

  4. Ohhhhh. Is he playing for the school still? I didn't realize that. That's definitely more stressful - although still fun.

I certainly didn't mean that you and I would golf! Heavens no. We'll drive the carts and hold the ice cream, and gossip about how much cuter golfer butts are than other butts.

  5. Yep, he was playing for school. It was the 3rd time he'd taken the PAT, and he really wanted to be done.

I'm totally down with ice cream and cart-driving. Sounds like my kind of party!
