Opinion Poll Time: PLEASE VOTE

Don't worry, this isn't about politics. I've had enough of those. The real question is:

Should I donate my hair?

Before you vote, I should tell you that my hair DOES NOT GROW so it's been about the same length for some 8 years. I haven't had short hair since 2nd grade....just the thought scares me. At least 10 inches! Yikes!

Please keep in mind that this is not a democracy. I may or may not follow what popular opinion dictates. And I may or may not tell you the real reason why, at least for a little while.

Thank you for participating.

  1. Well, I vote yes.

I think you should ask Slice for his opinion, and then do what you want anyway. That is part of your indoctrination into your wifely role.

  2. As one whose hair also DOES NOT GROW - I say keep it ;) Unless the reason you eluded to will mean more trouble keeping it than not! But I also agree with your commentor above - ask for opinions, then do what you want anyway ;) Just don't cut it yourself . . . I did that when I had long hair and ended up having to get a horrible "boy cut" to fix the damage I'd created! (Granted, I was in the fifth grade, but still! I don't recommend it . . . )

  3. Yes! As the daughter of a 2-time breast cancer survivor- YES!

Pantene Pro-V has a donation program (www.beautifullengths.com) similar to locks of love where you only have to donate 8 inches.

    Good luck!

  4. This is tricky, I like your hair. But I think that you should donate it, it's such a great idea. Good luck deciding.

  7. I dont know how to vote, but should in fact tell you my opinion, because I recently was a hair doner myself. I have always wanted to donate my hair, but have also always loved my long hair. Yet, I just could picture that sweet little girl with my hair and how happy she would feel, because she lost hers. So if you think that's weighs out your options then yes. But then again, I cut mine 11 1/2 inches and I have missed it every day. I was due for a change. Because I had looked the same for 5 years and that was too long, but then I hadn't had short hair since 10 grade. However, my school picture that I had taken reminds me way too much of sophomore year. Anways, I am in the workings of growing mine back out, maybe not as long. But I also do base my days of life and washing my hair days, not as much since it is shorter because it doesn't take me as long, but I still do. That is a perk it takes me much less time. Well, if you would like further details on my feelings of doing this then let me know, but I will stop rambling for now..ejoy!
